The tabletop is precisely fabricated from 1.5" thick birch Europly, celebrating the clean, alternating structural laminations along its exposed edges as an intentional design feature. The surface is treated with a specialized aniline dye to deeply saturate the wood fibers and highlight the intricate grain patterns of the birch veneer. To complete the top plane, a high-gloss clear finish is applied, creating a highly reflective, durable surface that accentuates the depth of the dyed grain.
This engineered top sits securely over a structural foundation composed of four 3/8" thick blackened steel plates.
